Specialist support for professionals on the front line
Clinical supervision, consultancy and training for youth justice teams and related services.
Who are we?
Onyx is a provider of high-quality clinical supervision, consultancy and training for professionals working across youth justice, and related services such as social care and education.
Founded by Isabelle Rodker, HCPC Arts Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, Onyx is grounded in deep expertise and a strong commitment to trauma-informed, anti-racist and neurodivergence-affirming practices.
What do we do?
We support frontline professionals working with children and young people to grow, reflect, and develop in their roles.
Our expert clinical supervision creates space for thoughtful practice, empowering practitioners to achieve better outcomes for those they support, while nurturing their own professional confidence and wellbeing.
Alongside supervision, we offer bespoke training and consultancy, delivering practical strategies, evidence-based tools, and robust theoretical insight tailored to the unique, real-world challenges of working with children.
Through these services, we help build supportive environments where children can thrive, professionals experience greater fulfilment and better mental health, and the risk of burnout is reduced.
Why do we do it?
Our purpose is simple: to reduce suffering and foster best practice with relationships at the heart of the matter.
We are dedicated to supporting professionals who work with children and young people, deepening their understanding of children with complex needs, while helping them to navigate the emotional impact of their work and manage vicarious trauma.
